On World Environment Day, Varun Hiremath and the Hiremath Family Foundation launched the ‘Green Change’ initiative in Alibag, Maharashtra—empowering rural schoolchildren to lead local waste management and promote environmental care. Around 150 students took part in hands-on eco-literacy workshops, clean-up drives, and composting sessions, sparking excitement and real behavioral change in their villages.
